The expenditure team is responsible for developing and managing the agencies annual budgets. Expenditure analysts work collaboratively with agencies to ensure the City services and programs are implemented efficiently and effectively. They also conduct quarterly projections, provide support for agency financial officers, and work with agencies to improve services and spending through the enhancement and innovation fund processes.
To ensure the effectiveness of programs, analysts conduct management research projects that assess the cost-effectiveness and revenue-generating potential of specific programs and services, Additionally, expenditure team members provide policy analysis by responding to proposed bills at the local level.
