Bob Cenname became Baltimore’s Budget Director in January 2018 after serving for six years as the Deputy Director. In that role, he led a staff of eight analysts with responsibility for the development, presentation, and monitoring of the City’s $2.8 billion operating budget.
Bob was one of the key architects in developing the City’s innovative outcome-based budgeting approach and the City’s 10-Year Financial Plan. He received the Mayor’s Medallion for Meritorious Service in 2016 for his work on risk management and comprehensive financial planning.
Bob previously served as an analyst and manager for the Procter and Gamble Company in Hunt Valley, Maryland. He earned his Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and his Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
